About Us

The Hope of Healing Foundation® was founded in 2007 after three independent Cincinnati physicians, each using their own area of expertise began working cooperatively to prevent amputations and heal wounds that previously may have led to amputation. Their commitment to preventing limb amputations inspired them to create a foundation with the mission of reducing limb amputations through:

Community outreach to promote foot health and simple testing to detect amputation risk.

Educating the medical community about foot health and the importance of early detection.

Promoting innovative wound care strategies to reduce amputations.

Our board of directors is a diverse group of physicians, wound care specialists, and patients who have had limbs saved.
